A Fullness of Life is a short film developed in response to a live brief set by Southwark Council, commissioned as part of a university project. Created in collaboration with Otis Harding-Hill the film delves into the often-overlooked lives of trees, challenging the perception of them as mere resources rather than living entities.
Every frame was meticulously printed by hand using the cyanotype method - a photographic printing process that relies on plant-derived chemicals, reinforcing the film’s deep connection to nature. The sound design was crafted through an experimental approach, using a combination of microphones and stethoscopes to capture the subtle feedback and resonant frequencies emitted by trees.
