A Fullness of Life is a short film commissioned by Southwark Council as part of a university project, created in collaboration with Otis Harding-Hill. The film delves into the often-overlooked lives of trees, challenging the perception of them as mere resources rather than living entities.
Every frame was meticulously printed by hand using the cyanotype method—a photographic printing process that relies on plant-derived chemicals, reinforcing the film’s deep connection to nature. The sound design was crafted through an experimental approach, using a combination of microphones and stethoscopes to capture the subtle feedback and resonant frequencies emitted by trees.
